FAQ: I must always put on makeup during working hours. How to perform daily prayers at workplace?

Many working women do not perform regular daily prayers at their workplaces because of their unwillingness to remove makeup to do ablution (Wudu').

Tips #1: always bring make-up remover wipes

Well for ladies whom are always on-the-go especially busy working women and travellers, I recommend you out there to purchase make-up remover wipes that can instantly and effectively clear off foundation, eye makeup and waterproof mascara without trouble yourself to clean your face with cotton pad, liquid makeup remover, and etc.

Simply buy one travel pack at the drugstore, drop it into your car dashboard or slip it into handbag and you are ready to perform daily prayers wherever you go! Easy? :)

Recommended products: Biore / Neutrogena / Simple

Tips #2: apply simple natural looking make-up

It only takes 3-5minutes to re-do your simple make-up after the prayer. Just a simple natural make-up will do since we need to perform Zohor and Asar prayers during working hours,.

*Unless you knw you're unable to perform prayers (during menstrual). Like for me myself, i apply heavy make-up only when i'm "on leave". Heee  ;)

Body Pampering

And yesterday I decided to make my first appointment with Rzac Classique Spa for me, mama, and sister at 5.30pm. So after work I headed to Rzac Classique Spa which is 2-minutes walk from my workplace, while mama and sister readily waiting for my arrival at Rzac Spa. Tehee.

I have booked for Sauna Classique Herbal + Body Scrub treatment. Three of us had the same package.

Price: RM 52.00 for each person
Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes
* Pretty worth-it kan! No?

So we had our first sauna in Rzac Spa. Herbal sauna is to enhance the health of the body, clean the skin, and clear the mind. The benefits of the herbs, when used in the tradition sense, is to allow for an opening of skin pores, thus allowing for herbs to be absorbed and hence benefit vital internal organs. Haaa.

Next Adventure: Body Scrub!

Here are few types of ‘lulur’ that we get to choose for our body scrub session!
•Lulur Halia – Ginger Scrub
•Lulur Candle Nut – Candle Nut Scrub
•Lulur Serai Wangi – Lemongrass Scrub
•Lulur Pandan Wangi – Pandan Leaf Scrub
•Lulur Coffee – Coffee Scrub
•Lulur Cinnamon – Cinnamon Scrub

I chose ‘Lulur Coffee’..! Well I don’t drink coffee but I do love the aroma and it’s good for my tired dull skin too. *Hopefully* Mama and sister both chose Lemongrass Scrub.

Coffee Scrub
•Shed old dead skin cells with grounded coffee
•Feel the soft and smooth skin
•Promotes blood circulation

Lemongrass Scrub
•Lemongrass exudes a lemony aroma that rejuvenates and warms the body
•It also relieves the body of aches and pain
•Promotes blood circulation and remove wind in the body

Well, nothing much! I signed up for a membership because I can get 10-20% discount for my next visit! I’d give them 3.5 stars.

Homemade Milk & Honey Bath Recipe

Milk & Honey baths work wonders for our skin. They are the best way to whiten, soften and smooth our complexion naturally! Are you ready to get silky smooth and milky white skin complexion? Here you go.... :)

2-4 cup fresh full cream milk / powder milk
2-3 tablespoon honey
5 tablespoons baking soda
5 drops lavender essential oil

1) Pour milk into a glass bowl
2) Add the baking soda and honey, and stir, mixing well.
3) Add the essential oil, drop by drop, and then mix again.
4) Pour the milk mixture into a warm bath.

*For best skin whitening and softening results, exfoliate your body with a mild scrub before you soak.

*You can also add other natural ingredients such as oatmeal and essential oils to boost the beautifying effects of your homemade milk bath.

Milk removes dead skin cells and softens skin. It also nourishes and soothes, so it’s especially good for dry skin, or skin that seems to have lost its vitality.

Honey's natural antioxidant and anti-microbial properties help to protect the skin from the damage of the sun's rays, supports the skin's ability to rejuvenate and refresh depleted skin, leaving it feeling silky soft and supple.

Baking Soda has a skin-softening effect and gives the bathwater a silky feel. It is also great for soothing itchy skin too.

Lavender oil is a soothing addition to the bath. Its scent is both uplifting and calming.

Random Thoughts of The Day

Have you ever been walking down the street and realized that you're going in the complete opposite direction of where you are supposed to be going? But instead of just turning a 180 and walking back in the direction from which you came, you have to first do something like check your watch or phone or make a grand arm gesture and mutter to yourself to ensure that no one in the surrounding area thinks you're crazy by randomly switching directions on the sidewalk. Hah!
